On June 9, 2014 memorandum of cooperation was signed between Saakashvili Presidential Library and University of Georgia. According to the document, adopted by Chairman of the board of Saakashvili Presidential library Andro Barnovi and Director of University of Georgia Manana Sanodze, parties undertake to develop common educational projects for training professionals that meet modern standards. Additionally, the aim of the project is to support implementation of civil initiatives to further accomplish democratic values.
“Agora Project” was the first project that brought about cooperation of Saakashvili Presidential Library and the School of Social Sciences of the University of Georgia. Technical support of the project is carried out by the faculty and students.
